Now today some people believe racism still exist and some don't. Those people who don't put up wall's around their lives and what is happening in the world around them, often trying to convince themselves that racism is not a problem in their world. Others think they know all about the problem, which they really don't or just don't really realize that they themselves could possibly be contributing to the problem of discrimination against someone else’s human rights, while at the same time believing saying they are open-minded. One problem is that some people do live in somewhat a racist condition and don’t even realize it. Sometimes its in a workplace, school, communities, or even in their own homes. People often tell jokes with racist slurs, and while we know not to laugh at ones about blacks, it seems that ones about other races like Chinese and Hispanic are okay, which isn’t cause its all the same shit.
More than half the people in the world almost always get stereotypes wrong. People judge by the appearance of another than actually getting to know the person. They need to understand the quote of “personalities reside inside one's mind, not outside one's body.” Racist jokes are becoming increasingly familiar among teens in our society - there are many people known to poke fun at blacks, asians, hispanics, chinese, and even jewish people for no reason but to be funny and possibly "respected" by their peers. They may claim that aren’t racist, they just share or laugh at the occasional racist joke. They think there’s a difference. Is there a difference?….I believe there is no difference. It jus creates a cycle and no one nor nothing to control it. We don't live in such a perfect world; there are always people who can't accept others. I don’t think its right - people hating people just because they were born in a different place or were brought up in a different culture, or somewhere in between there.
"...Everybody jumped on him, beat the hell out of him... Everybody washitting him or kicking him. One guy was kicking at his spine. Another guyhitting on the side of the face... He was unconscious. He was bleeding. Everybody had blood on their forearms. We ran back up the hill laughing... He should have died... He lost so much blood he turned white. He got what he deserved"
The skinheads who performed this random act of racial violence in 1990,had no reason to brutally beat their victim other than the fact that he was Mexican (Ridgeway 167). Racism is objectively defined as any practice ofethnic discrimination or segregation. Fortunately, racial violence issteadily declining as the turn of the century approaches. Now a new formof racism, covert racism, has recently sprung from the pressures ofpolitical correctness. This new form of racism, although slowly declining, still shows signs of strong support (Piazza 86). Covert racism assumes aform of civil disobedience against politically correct thought and speech. Essentially, covert racism is a "hidden" racism, or a racism not easilydetected (Piazza 78). "Racism is still strongly prevalent in today'ssociety" (Gudorf 3).

What is Racism?
"Racism is the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another, that a person’s social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics. Racial separatism is the belief, most of the time based on racism, that different races should remain segregated and apart from one another. "
Racism been around for centuries and still continue today. Racism has influenced many issues. Some issues are formations of nations, wars, and legal codes. "It may be defined as the hatred of one person by another -- or the belief that another person is less than human -- because of skin color, language, customs, place of birth or any factor that supposedly reveals the basic nature of that person."
